California Caterham Club

Welcome to California Caterham Club's website, still very much under construction.

We are working on creating a Caterham club for California that will provide the following services to its members:

Blats
We will on a regular basis meet up on weekend mornings and go for an extended drive. Join in your Caterham or whatever you have in your garage that you want to air.
Demos
For people who are considering buying a Caterham, we will setup demo evenings where we invite anyone who is interested. During this evening we will take close peek inside a assembled or disassembled car (depending on what is available) and go through the steps involved in building your own.
Workshop days
We will arrange events where you can get your Caterham on a dynamo with expert help, have those front wheels aligned once and for all, get track time with a driving instructor and so forth. Suggestions are most welcome!
Racing
We will, of course, arrange races in different classes and at different levels
Marketplace
The forum above will host a for sale/wanted section where local buyers and sellers of parts and cars can meet.
Mentoring
When you are purchasing a new kit, or are doing serious upgrades to an existing car, we will be available to help you with our experience. We also know how to approach DMV in the least painful way, when the day comes to register your Caterham.
Tools
A Caterham can be assembled with very little special tools, with the exception of the dreaded 41mm socket, a 200NM torque wrench and an engine hoist. We have them all and will lend them to you.
