New Track Near Lancaster, S. Calif.
Just came across this:
http://www.fairmontbuttemotorsportspark.com/index.html It is a new motorsport park planned near Lancaster, located next to the poppy preserve just off hwy 138. Seems to be only about 30 miles from the Willow Springs track. It will be interesting to see if it gets approved. Stan

I think the Shelby or Alfa Club sent out an email to motivate people to attend a hearing (maybe it was this week?). There is a consortium of environmentalists opposed to the project because it is just north of the CA Poppy Reserve.
