Last year I went (again) and I can recommend it.

Not so much for the school part. It is pretty good for new drivers but I have done that a few times and it becomes a bit boring. But beyond that there is more track time than on some official track weekends (although on a shortened Streets track). Last time there were a few very powerful cars in the group with good drivers who made it fun. The skid pad exercise (although no longer wet) and the tight go-kart track are other things you normally don't have and help getting a feel for the car at the limits.

With wife and daughter on a hastily planned tripped in Sweden, I am thinking about attending this one. Any recommendation on which Time Trial class I should go into? From the description, it sounds like advanced, but I am a bit rusty with no track time since last summer.

If you have not done their TT school before start low and they can move you up.

Once you do enough of them they will give you a TT License. They should have a form where they keep a record of your classes.

You may have to ask to get it started.

I went for the "advanced" group last year, no problem and there was some interesting company in the group (two GT3, and a hot Viper).

I'll send in registration for time trial novice tomorrow. I've also booked a room at the Inn of Lancaster coming Friday and leaving Sunday.

Has anyone else signed up?

70% chance of rain on Saturday. That's a showstopper for me...

It's much more fun in the rain so don't be a wimp.

I'd be there but have to take some library books back.
